What to know before you sign up
NovoCare Pharmacy is Novo Nordisk selling Wegovy and Ozempic to cash payers itself, and its prices are the reference every brand-semaglutide program in this table should be read against: $149 a month for the Wegovy pill at 1.5 mg, rising to $199 at 4 mg and $299 at 9 mg and 25 mg, and $199 a month for the Wegovy pen at the two starting doses. That pen price is a launch offer, not a list price: it covers two monthly fills through December 31, 2026 for patients new to the program, after which every Wegovy pen dose from 0.25 mg to 2.4 mg costs $349 and the 7.2 mg high-dose pen costs $399.
The program sells medicine, not care. Its own terms require "a valid prescription for Wegovy or Ozempic" written for an FDA-approved indication, and the page's first step is "Speak to your prescriber". Novo links to telehealth services but does not run one, so add the cost of a visit with your own clinician or a telehealth prescriber to these prices before comparing them with a membership program.
The self-pay prices come with a condition: the program terms say a patient who pays them agrees not to claim the medicine on insurance. The same page offers an insured path, where a savings offer through NovoCare Pharmacy can bring a covered prescription to as little as $25 a month for up to three months, with savings capped at $100 a month and government beneficiaries excluded. Dispensing is by named pharmacies, including CoAssist Pharmacy operating as NovoCare Pharmacy, and the terms say Novo can change the program at any time.

Novo Nordisk Inc. is the manufacturer of Wegovy and Ozempic.
