What to know before you sign up

LifeMD's weight page prints two ongoing fees. The banner says the program fee starts at $75 a month; the FAQ and the price footnote say $149 a month after a $39 first month, and the footnote is the one that governs the medication prices, since it states that the Wegovy pill at $149 and the pen at $199 do not include "the monthly program & provider fee of $149". Budget on $149 until LifeMD tells you which tier you are in.

Every tile is a brand product: Wegovy pen and pill, Zepbound pen, KwikPen and vial, Foundayo, Saxenda, and Ozempic, which the page's own footnote says is not FDA-approved for weight loss. There is no compounded semaglutide tile and no compounded price, but a footnote keeps the door open: a provider "may prescribe compounded medication, which is prepared by a state-licensed sterile compounding pharmacy partner", and the custom medication packs may include compounded products. Read the product name on the prescription.

Insurance help here is a benefit check run by a third-party pharmacy partner, not a prior authorization filed for you, and anyone with Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE or a Medicare Supplement plan is not eligible for the GLP-1 program at all.
