How we work
Editorial standards

Our commitment
VitalDecades is editorially independent. No sponsor, advertiser, or partner influences what we cover, how we cover it, or the clinical conclusions we reach. If you see something that looks wrong, email hello@vitaldecades.com.
Independence
Commercial partners never see a page before it publishes, do not receive drafts, and cannot buy a placement, a rank or a score. Affiliate revenue is disclosed on the page that earns it and on how we pick. Nobody who writes or reviews a page is paid on clicks or sales.
Scores
A score is never published without its metric breakdown and a methodology note naming the criteria and the month of evaluation. Pros and cons are real: a review with no cons is not finished.
Bylines
We do not create author or reviewer profiles for people who do not exist. Pages carry a collective byline until a named, credentialed clinician reviews them, and a named reviewer appears only with a real profile, licence and review date. Drafts are prepared with software assistance; a human editor checks every figure and citation against the primary source before publication and is accountable for the page.
Health information, not news
We publish health guidance, guides and explainers. Timely changes (a price, a rule, a recall) are covered as health information framed around what a reader might do, not as news. We do not run breaking-news labels, tickers or news sections.
Voice
Plain declarative English. Facts carry dates. No hype, no hedging filler, no em dashes.
Corrections
Errors are fixed on the page, the update date changes, and material corrections are noted in the page's sources footer. Report one at hello@vitaldecades.com.
