What to know before you sign up
SHED sells two different things under one brand, and its price tables do not agree with each other. The compounded plans print a single monthly figure next to "100% online visit and checkout" and unlimited provider follow-ups: semaglutide at $199 month to month, $179 on a six-month term and $159 on twelve; tirzepatide at $299, $269 and $239. The category page above those tables says "Starting at $249/month" and "Starting at $349/month" for the same two products. The brand plans add a Shed membership on top of the pharmacy's price, and on September 23, 2026 the Wegovy page printed that fee as $125 a month in its header and $99 a month in its price note.
The commitment is the part to read twice. Every subscription carries a two-month minimum, fees are non-refundable once charged, and a cancellation refund is calculated by repricing the months you used at the month-to-month rate. The Terms still contain "$[X]" and "$[Y]" placeholders where the care-membership prices should be.
The Terms name six dispensing pharmacies and allow a prescription to be filled by and transferred between any of them. One of the six, Boothwyn Pharmacy, received an FDA warning letter dated January 16, 2026 for adulterated compounded drug products. The same Terms say medication "may be shipped to you directly from sources other than within the United States". Ask which pharmacy is filling yours.
Frequently asked questions
Is SHED a legitimate company?
The site is owned by Shed Holdings, LLC of South Jordan, Utah, under Terms governed by Utah law. As of September 23, 2026 the FDA warning-letter list held nothing for Shed Holdings, ShedRx or tryshed, the FTC case library had no matching case, and a web search found no attorney general or medical board action; the complaints on record are consumer reviews about billing and shipping, not regulator actions. One of its six named pharmacy partners, Boothwyn Pharmacy, does carry a 2026 FDA warning letter.
Can I cancel SHED after the first month?
Not for a refund. SHED's help page says every subscription requires a two-month minimum before it is eligible for cancellation, and the Terms make subscription fees non-refundable once charged, including an attempt to cancel inside that minimum. After the minimum, a refund on a prepaid plan is the difference between what you paid and the months used repriced at the monthly rate.
Does SHED's price include the membership?
For the compounded injections the product page lists one per-month figure with the online visit and provider follow-ups. For Wegovy and Zepbound the medication is paid to the dispensing pharmacy and a Shed membership is charged on top; the Wegovy page printed that membership as both $99 and $125 a month on the same day, so confirm the figure at checkout.
